Warrior’s Pledge

I lift up the name of Satan, I magnify his precious name.

All ye who are his enemies, tremble and cower before the one true God!

The one you praise is false and weak, he has no power here upon this earth. For the world belongs to Satan, its lawful Master.

All ye who preach false words, who magnify the names of the false prophets, beware! Take heed, and cease your great blasphemies! You do not know Satan, our true Father, but you soon shall.

Do not fill the brains of the ignorant with saccharine lies! Death will seal your tongues forever.

In the name of Satan, I shall show you his wroth! The righteous flames of Hell shall consume you for your treachery. You shall die by the runes of burning.

Your dying screams of agony shall be music to my ears.

You say that music is of the devil? Before you die, you shall see my face, and be brought begging and cowering before Satan’s majestic throne. And there, music shall you hear. And it shall be the infernal clarions of victory! Liars of christ, your death knell is sounded!

I don't think music being of Lucifer is a widely held belief among most religions. Nonetheless this is written clarly and represents a good command of free-verse poetry. I'd say it represents the inspiration of its subject matter quite well.

Well, I don't like preachers. Thats why I wrote it. They piss me off. As for thinking music is of Satan, check out the baptists. They're just such bright little rays of sunshine! Lol.

Yeah, some baptists are ...... special. As forpreachers, I can certainly relate. Some of them can really lay it on thick. Strangely enough, practitioners of religion seem to have a unique way of getting under people's skin with their oppinions.

Yes indeed. I mean, you can be a practitioner of whatever religion you want; that's fine. Just don't try and shove it down my throat. I'm perfectly content, and all the preaching in the world won't do anything except make me mad. Lol.

i'm late as allways to posting to this stuff. i hate. freking hate. priechers. they are the ones that killed free will, freedom to practice any religion you want, i've got some christian friends but i make sure that religion is keppt out of any discussion i might have with them. again, very nicely written.

THere's a huge difference between "preachers" and people talking about religion. Frustrating is the person who shoves their beliefs down our throat without a care in the world. But frustrating too are the people who are so incredibly against religion that the mere mention of it raises their defenses.

I have to agree with LeoGuardian on this one. I'm a Christian, and I figure there is a way for me, personally, to display that. I really can't stand the way preachers "spread the Gospel." If only some such "religious" people would shut their mouths and really start living the stuff they proclaim...but I guess that's just wishful thinking. And so, it's up to me to shut up and live what I believe and hopefully be able to positively impact people...one person at a time. I wrote two blog posts about the Baptists...I went to a Southern Baptist church service for the first time a few weeks ago, and...that was something different for sure!

To be fair, The Blind Guardian and LeoGuardian are two different people.
I don't know where his username comes from, mine comes from a combination of my middle name plus Guardian, aka member of the United States Coast Guard. The Blind Guardian is a writing critic on here. Me, I just tend to ramble too much probably.

I like your ramblings, Leo! Lol. They're always interesting, if nothing else.

I agree with Bethany. Lead and teach by example, and by talking to people who are truly interested. Not by condemning those you do not understand. That's how I feel anyway.

Sorry Leo. Looks like we're getting that confusio a lot. I've been wanting to change my username, but I'm not paying 6 dollars for the privoledge.

It's a little sad that contravercy spawned so many replies on this forum. The writer's Block is, I fear one of the most inactive forums.
